Security as the most valuable asset
As a German-CRR bank KEB Hana Bank (D) AG corporation is a member of the Compensation Scheme of German Banks GmbH (EdB). The associated statutory deposit guarantee deposits are protected up to a total of 100,000 € per customer, regardless in which the deposits are denominated.
Tasks of the Compensation Scheme of German Banks (
The EdB performs the task of the compensation scheme called for under the German Deposit Guarantee and Investor Compensation Act for the area of the private commercial banks. The protection provided by EdB is limited to EUR 100,000 per depositor. The EdB was set up in 1998.
